Special Orders
There are many more items available from the brands we offer that we would love to stock, but simply do not have the room for. This is where special orders come in! We hope this page will answer all of your questions about special orders but if it does not, please contact us!
What is a special order?
- These are items that we can get from our suppliers but do not usually carry as day to day stock.
How do I place a special order?
- Some items have special order options available directly on the product page. Simply follow the instructions through the checkout process to place the order. If this option isn't available on the product page please use the form on the "Contact Us" page and we will be in touch with you as soon as we can.
What if I don't like my special order or it doesn't fit? Can I get a refund?
- Unfortunately, special orders are final sale. We will always do our best to find sizing charts and measurements for the products so this will, hopefully, never happen!
Do you require payment upfront for special orders?
- We do require full payment upfront for your special order item. The only exception to this is if items are backordered and we are expecting a lengthy wait - in this case we will only require a 50% downpayment with the rest due upon arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Some items in our store may be offered to you as a special order. This cancellation policy lays out how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases. Please see our "Shipping & Returns" page for policies relating to in-store items and sale items.
Special Order
When you purchase a special order item, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date. Orders may also be paid in full at the time of checkout, which is our normal policy for special orders. Special orders may be refunded ONLY up until the point that Northern Lights Equestrian Boutique has placed the order for your item, with the supplier which the item originates from. Special Orders may be changed subject to product availability until we have placed the order with our supplier. Once we have placed the order with the supplier for your product you are no longer able to change your order nor are you eligible for ANY type of refund for ANY reason aside from manufacturers defects found by you, the client, upon delivery. Any defects noted upon delivery must be reported to Northern Lights Equestrian Boutique within 5 business days and the item must remain in as-delivered condition (meaning unused, with tags attached and original packaging available).
