Shipping
Orders are shipped Monday - Friday and will be shipped within 5 business days after payment is received. Items may be shipped with either Canada Post standard shipping methods or a courier service such as Canpar, FedEx, Purolator, or UPS unless otherwise requested. Please contact us for special shipping requests such as express or next day shipping with Canpar, UPS, Fedex, Purolator, or Canada Post. If you need your order shipped or delivered by a specific day please contact us to ensure we can accommodate your requests.
Canadian Shipping is based on your province. Please review our new shipping costs as of January 6, 2023.
- British Columbia and Alberta: Orders $299.99 and under ship for $16.99. Orders $300 and over ship for free.
- Saskatchewan and Manitoba: Orders $319.99 and under ship for $20.99. Orders $320 and over ship for free.
- Ontario and Quebec: Orders $349.99 and under ship for $22.99. Orders $350 and over ship for free.
- Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador: Orders $374.99 and under ship for $29.99. Orders $375 and over ship for free.
- NWT, Yukon, Nunavut: Orders $399.99 and under ship for $35.99. Orders $400 and over ship for free.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NORTHERN LIGHTS EQUESTRIAN BOUTIQUE WILL NOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR DAMAGE TO ITEMS DURING TRANSIT, FOR DAMAGE SUSTAINED DURING INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS INSPECTIONS, OR ITEMS LOST IN TRANSIT. Should any of these instances occur, we will do our very best to recoup the cost of the product to you via postal insurance in order to either refund you the purchase price, or send a replacement product but cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.
If your order has been sent in a box, you'll probably notice that the box looks reused! That's because, usually, it is. While they might not always be perfect or may be branded with another company's marketing, we believe this is a great solution to keep shipping costs down for you, the customer, as well as reduce our footprint on the environment! (A win situation for everyone!)
Preorder/Backordered items
Any shipments with preorder or backordered items combined with in stock items will be held until all items have arrived and are in hand with us. Should you need the in stock item sent right away please either contact us prior to ordering to make arrangements or place two separate orders.
Returns & Exchanges
- Returns on regular priced items may be initiated within 14 days of receipt (as recorded on the tracking number) for in-store credit or a refund in the form of original payment. Exchanges must also be initiated within 14 days of receipt.
- Please note as of January 1 2023: refunds processed via CREDIT CARD (including, but not limited to those processed on Shop Pay, Paypal, or Apple Pay) will be subject to a 5% restock fee. Original shipping fees cannot and will not be refunded.
- Please contact us by e-mail prior to returning your items. Items must be returned in clean, unused, and undamaged condition, in the original packaging, with all labels attached. The customer will be responsible for any and all costs associated with returning items (this includes, but is not limited to, purchasing packaging for the return, purchasing postage for the return).
- The customer will also be responsible for the shipping costs associated with the dispatch of products being exchanged or purchased with in-store credit should the credit not cover shipping costs.
- Northern Lights Equestrian Boutique reserves the right to inspect all returns before issuing credit, refunds, or exchanges.
- Purchasing postal insurance and tracking for returns is recommended as Northern Lights Equestrian Boutique cannot take responsibility for items lost or damaged in the mail.
PLEASE NOTE: SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE AND CANNOT BE RETURNED FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN MANUFACTURER DEFECT. ENSURE THE ITEMS YOU ARE PURCHASING ARE THE CORRECT SIZE AND FIT YOUR NEEDS AS RETURNS FOR ILL FIT ETC. WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. We are happy to send measurements and size charts to assist in ensuring a good fit, contact us prior to ordering.
